Secret Sauce is a team of entrepreneurs that enjoy finding creative ways to exploit IP and new business models.
We have backgrounds from technology start-ups, corporate IT, technology research labs, sales & marketing, technical development and venture capital.
For each project we bring together a specialised international team of trusted people that we have worked with before.
managing director: steve telburn (MBA, BSc, GAICD)
Steve has over 15 years experience in extracting value from intellectual property.
Steve established and grew Offspring Ventures, a successful technology commercialisation company owned by an ASX-listed organisation.
He has led four start-up IT companies, personally raised over $10M of venture capital and government grants and has played a fundamental role in the creation and strategic planning of over 100 technology ventures,
international licensing deals and IP sales across the IT&T, life-sciences and engineering sectors.
Previously, Steve led commercialisation deals at Telstra Corporation and implemented major corporate IT projects.
Steve is a member of the Federal Government’s Innovation Grants Committee, which is responsible for the management of Ausindustry grants to innovative Australian companies.
Steve is also a member of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
